Mercenaria species?
Could this be Mercenaria mercenaria? It is completely white inside; I have two the same (the other one is smaller).

Mercenaria species?
Sure looks like Mercenaria mercenaria.  The small ones like this usually are white inside.  The purple color starts developing as they grow larger, more so in some specimens than in others.
