Could this be Mercenaria mercenaria? It is completely white inside; I have two the same (the other one is smaller).

Sure looks like Mercenaria mercenaria. Â The small ones like this usually are white inside. Â The purple color starts developing as they grow larger, more so in some specimens than in others.
