I would suggest taking some group photos, maybe a dozen shells in one picture. One pic showing straight on bottom views of the shells, another showing straight on top (dorsal) views of the same shells.  That would save a lot of time and work, and usually that is sufficient to get an ID if the pictures are sharp.  <span class="petit">--Last edited by Paul Monfils on 2007-08-26 21:17:14 --</span>
