Green spiny shell? ID
I found this green shell today in Marco Island FL,and i was wondering the latin and common name? also anything else about it that you might know?

Hi there, it is hard to tell from the photo ( a bit dark) but it looks like Arcinella cornuta, the Florida Spiny Jewel Box. This is usually white or pinkish but yours may be stained by green algae.
Try the Jacksonville shell club website 'jaxshells', they may have a better picture.
