3 Shell Identification
I would appreciate if someone could identify 3 shells for me and perhaps were they may have come from. They were in my father's home collection and I would like to know. I have placed 2 photos of each shell on flick at http://www.flickr.com/photos/houstonbound/

You will need to click on 'photostream'.

Please reply to keas3210@yahoo.com

Pictures 0002 & 0003 are Murex (Muricanthus) nigritus, the Black Murex, from west Central America.

0004 & 0005 are Pleuroploca trapezium, the Trapezium Horse Conch, sometimes called Fox Shell, from the middle western Pacific, probably the Philippines.

0006 & 0007 are Busycon sinistrum, the Lightning Whelk, from Florida and surrounding area.
