I believe the top one is Conus balteatus, and the lower one Conus biliosus, the form often called Conus parvulus, which some authors consider to be a separate species.

Hello,

Looks like 2 <b>beached</b> specimens of <i>C. rattus </i>and <i>C. lividus</i> for me. I have seen hundreds like these in the Seychelles... I am sure near 99% <img src="images/smiley/smile.gif" alt="" border="0" />

I agree, they look more like rattus and lividus to me too.
