Is this a Cypraei Erosa Erosaria?
Hi Richard,

Strombus urceus is usually about 35 to 45 mm in length when mature, but there is a slender, tall-spired form that reaches at least 70 mm.  I have often wondered if that form should be described as a different species, but so far no-one has done so.  Here's a picture of that form (66 mm):
