Seashell Identification Help??
1)  Bursa (Bufonaria) perelegans - family Bursidae - Indo-Pacific region

2)  This is a Thais species, family Muricidae - probably Thais haemastoma floridana from Florida.

3)  Yes, Pectinidae.  Looks like Pecten albicans, a commercially important species from Japan

4)  Unknown bivalve, probably family Veneridae

5)  A Tapes species, family Veneridae, probably Tapes philippinarum, which was originally from the tropical Indo-Pacific, but has now been introduced into Western North America and Europe.

6)  This is an Anomia species, family Anomiidae, probably Anomia simplex from the eastern United States.

7)  Unknown bivalve. The exterior looks like a Glycymeris, but not sure.

8)  Chlamys (Swiftopecten) swifti - family Pectinidae - from Japan
