Re: Tellins And Psammos?
Yes, #1 and #2 appear to be Gari squamosa.
#3 - don't know but it is certainly a small juvenile of a larger species.
#4 - There are only 2 species of Donacidae in the Philippines, and this doesn't match either of them.  It may be Tellina donaciformis.

Many thanks Paul for confirming gari squamosa....i google the name Tellina donaciformis but unfortunately i didnt find a good picture of it, you might be right on the id, but there is one specie that i saw that looks like mine "Macoma praetexta" it just that the colouration is somehow dont much,... is there a color variation on this specie?

Hi.  Yes, Macoma praetexta is another possibility, and I had considered it.  The color of your specimen is certainly more typical of M. praetexta than T. donaciformis, but the angular shape and pointed end seemed more like T. donaciformis.  Another possibility is Tellina culter.  I'm not certain that your specimen is any of these however.

Many thanks Paul, I will label it Macoma praetexta for now, until i find a good reference on T. donaciformis.
