Bivalve from Sri Lanka
This Bivalve comes from North Sri Lanka. 40 / 45 mm
I think it is " Veneridae ", but cant find the spec.name.
                                                Somebody can help.

Yes, Veneridae, a species of Tapes.  There are so many of them that look so similar, and so much synonymy in names, I can't name the species with certainty.

              They also have so many different patterns. ( i mean,the ones i collected ) so it is hard to id with documentation.

may be Tapes deshayesii (Hanley 1844).

Indeed, it is a Venus-species for sure. It looks like a Tawera lagopus...

Tawera lagopus location is South Australia & Tasmania,
and mine dont have granulate margin.
I dont think it is the right ID.
