Re: NewBie
Hi Hendro,
Your crafts are good and nice as for souviners, but for a serious shell collector it is not wise to glue a seashell on a decorated frame, it might damage the specie. did you personally collect those seashells? if yes i suggest you sell it as it was and not glued on a frame, in that aspect you preserve the quality of a seashell, Wink..... well..... that is only a suggestion  :Smile

happy shelling,
Diocris.

Re: NewBie
Wink Thanks Cris, for your good advice. I think your opinion about my frame is logic. But in my place many people prefer buy see Shells in decorate frame.

Latter I try collect the shells as it was and in good quality.
By the way, I have some Conidae Sp. size 80mm until 100mm, May be any wants to give me what the specific name? & any opinion about this specimen?

check my photo in attachment

regards,
hendro

Re: NewBie
Hello Hendro,
#1. the largest one is Dendroconus betulinus betulinus (Linnaeus,1758),Conus (conus) marmoreus (Linnaeus,1758)but faded, the last one looks like Virgiconus virgo (it is not easy to id coz the apex is on the front).
#2 Dendroconus betulinus betulinus this shell reach the size more than 150mm.

If i may suggest again if you use other method to put your images in other way? you can post your images using a LINK. there are plenty free hosting images websites that you can browse, I suggest it because lots of collectors here do not see your photo, Sad
