Need help
These little guys (about 3/4 of an inch) says they were found Gobernadora Island Panama. They have me very stumped on what they are. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

RE: Need help
There are two features here that make an exact ID difficult. First, the angle of the photograph. Shells for ID should be photographed straight on from the dorsal side, and straight on from the ventral side - the way they appear in most books. Secondly, the fact that this is an immature shell, as shown by the thin lip. Which means that its adult size could be considerably larger. That having been said, it appears to be a member of the family Buccinidae, most likely one of the 15 or so species of Cantharus found in southern Panama.
