CYPRAEA LEVIATHAN TITAN FORMA BOUTETI OR CYPRAEA LEVIATHAN BOUTETI ?
This it is just one of those forms that are hardly seen these days. I think it is valid as a form,  but i have some difficulties to separate it from the leviathan titan.

Nevertheless it is undoubtfully the rarest in the carneola group.

I think that this discussion it is quite important since there is always too much confusion associated with carneola/leviathan
leviathan/leviathan titan, and some authors even separate titan from bouteti , and this last appears as a leviathan ssp.

In my personall opinnion the form bouteti reffers to the leviathan found in Tahiti .

The most remarkable feature and besides the narrower shape that separates it from regular carneola, are the teeth coloration that are not so pronounced as it happens in leviathan.
