Unknown harpa and haliotis

Hello friends!

At last the forum is working, after so many days. I have some new pictures for you: Pictures on <a href="http://www.shellpictures.blogspot.com" target="_blank"><!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.shellpictures.blogspot.com">http://www.shellpictures.blogspot.com</a><!-- m --></a>

1, 3 & 4 (left): the shell is very light; I think it might be Harpa Ventricosa.

2, 3 & 4 (right): the shell is very heavy. It was sold to me as Harpa major from Philippines, but it looks more like H. Articularis to me. Any thoughts?

5 & 6: could this be haliotis tuberculata tuberculata from the Mediterranean?

The lightweight harp on the left is Harpa articularis.  I believe the heavy one on the right is Harpa cabriti.  What is the size of the Haliotis?

The Haloitis does look like tuberculata but could be something else. Do you have any data?

Paul, the harpa which was sold to me as H. Major is 70 mm. long.
Dave, I'm sorry but I don't have any further information on the haliotis.

I agree with Paul regarding the Harpa and I think the Haliotis is tuberculata.
