looking for interesting Conus and Cypraea
I have a specialized Cypraea & Conus-collection and I like to collect series of specimens of the same species. From common species I have hundreds; variations in colour, pattern, size, dwarfs, giants, granulated forms, etc. From the rarer specimens I have smaller numbers, of course.
But, I am always interested in obtaining new variable specimens.
Only shells of specimen quality (f++/gem) have my interest. With full data.
There's also an interest in other groups: Trivia, Oliva, Nerita (only with operculum), Mitra, Chiton (well prepared) etc.etc. --Last edited by Bart on 2009-11-21 15:10:00 --

Hi Bart, there are some cowries in my website now, come in series as you mentioned, like kieneri, clandestina, gracilis, tigris, etc. You may find some specimens for adding to your collection.

Hi, Bart,

I have just acquired my grandmother's extensive collection of shells and am working on organizing them and learning about them so I can sell them. A couple of weeks ago I actually got all of the Cypraea's together and have taken pictures of them. Take a look at the pictures and let me know if you are interested in purchasing any of them. http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a32/Mt ... =slideshow

Reading up on the grading scale of shells I would say the majority of the shells are gems and/or F+++ range.

Dear bharmer,
I have seen the photos of the Cypraea. Are they all labeled with the exact location where they were collected? Is there a price-list ready or do you have a total amount?
I have an advanced collection, but I am always looking for new forms or variations.
