Lambis scorpius

Hi, Could someone give me some help with identifying the difference between Lambis scorpius and scorpius indomaris? I have a couple of labels mixed up and it's very difficult to identify even when comparing with labelled ones if you don't know what you are looking for! Many thanks, Louise

Hi Loise. The best way is to look at the first digit (Top left)when the shell is held with the spire upwards and the aperture facing you. You will see at the base of the digit is a small flange sticking out. Scorpius scorpius has this and indomaris does not.
