Is this an unusual pattern for a Cypraea tigris?
One of my favorite's in my small collection anyway.

I'd say a little unusual, but well within normal range of pattern.

It's a nice Cypraea tigris L. But this extremely common species can be found in a wide variety of colours and patterns. Not one looks alike. Specimens with a nice dorsal line like yours are nice of course but not uncommon to find...

I look atthe shape of this shell and wonder where it was collected. I'm thinking Cyp pantherina. Either way a nice shell.
