Two shells - Found in Egypt.
Hi,
On my vacation i've found two types of snails, which i can't recognize. Can someone help me? These are the pictures: 1: and 2: Thank you very much! Kind regards, Paul Verhulst NOTE FROM MODERATOR: OOPS! Sorry, I accidentally deleted both the images and my previous response. Repeating my response here, and perhaps Paul would be willing to repost the images! The first picture is Harpa amouretta, the second is Conus textile. These are both wide-ranging Indo-Pacific species. I didn't realize either of them ranged as far as the Red Sea. The Conus has a dangerously venomous sting, so good thing you didn't handle it. Nice pictures!
