Help with Costa Rican shell ID

Hello everyone,
New member here.  I have just taken some photos of shells found on my Costa Rican vacation this past December.  All were found by beachcombing along the Pacific coast in Puntarenas province, Costa Rica.  Here are the photos on Flickr (descrïption includes my best effort so far at ID):

I would be grateful for any ID help or other comments.  This was my first visit to a tropical beach, and I was really impressed by how colorful and interesting the shells were- much more exciting than along the New Jersey and Maryland beaches I usually visit!  I especially liked the cowries- I might start collecting them.  Thanks again for any help.

Hi, parthicus!
At first glance, I have three suppositions:
CR shells 1: no. 7 might be <i>Tegula verrucosa</i> McLean, 1970 (family Trochidae).
CR shells 2: no. 3 is a little bit difficult to decide; might be Turbinidae, <i>Astraea buschii</i> (Philippi, 1844) or close to this species.
CR shells 3: no. 5 might be <i>Trivia radians</i> (Lamarck, 1811).
For the other specimens I need more time..... . I´m eager to know what the much better informed people say...... .

Hi,
CR shells 2, no. 1 reminds me of <i>Oliva spicata</i> (Röding, 1798). Might be wrong (as usual...... <img src="images/smiley/smile.gif" alt="" border="0" />).

CR4: nr 3 is probably Dosinia dunkeri
CR5: nr 2 and nr 5 are Carditidae, nr 3 probably Pitar tortuosus or one of several similar Pitar species from that region, nr 4 Americardia guanacastensis, nr 7 Strigilla sp. (Tellinidae), nr 8 Chione amathusia, nr 9 Tivela byronensis

Thanks for the suggestions, wolf and mikede, I appreciate the help.  Now I need to plan which tropical beach to visit next...
