request shell identification
Good images this time, but sorry to say these reveal that the shells are not marine. These are both fresh water snails, one apparently from the family Pleuroceridae, the other Lymnaeidae.

request shell identification
Dear Paul Monfils,
I attach with this a clear picture of the snail recovered from 71 m depth in the lake bed. Also attached a picture of another shell which was recovered at about 79 m depth in the same lake bed. Kindly see if they can be identified accurately in terms of their species name, and habitat. The shells are uploaded at: http://www.badongo.com/pic/10226571 http://www.badongo.com/pic/10226572 thanking you Sincerely Kakaninr --Last edited by Paul Monfils on 2010-08-13 17:36:02 -- |
