help with identification

Re: help with identification
The first one appears to be the tip of the spire from a Charonia variegata, which occurs on both sides of the Atlantic.  The other one is not a "sea shell", but a land snail, Liguus virgineus, from Haiti, in the Caribbean.  This species is exported by the ton for shell craft and tourist baskets, so it is no surprise for it to turn up just about anywhere.
