Hi Diocris,

I have a number of Phos textum, and they really don't look like your shell.  They do look like the top several images on the site you linked.  There is a dark colored specimen shown near the bottom, which somewhat resembles your shell, but I don't think it's a match.  Also, that shell is so different from typical P. textum that I doubt it is that species (?)

The little dark shell could certainly be a Vexillum.  The columellar denticles don't necessarily exclude Anachis, as some Anachis species do have such "teeth".  I'm still open to either possibility.  Vexillum albocinctum does resemble your shell (except for the white band that gives it its name) - but it's a Caribbean species.  Yours is from the Philippines, correct?  Vexillum ficulinum is a widespread Indo-Pacific species that might occur in the Philippines (not sure), but its sculpture is quite different from your shell.
