Shell identification
OK, I'll do what I can do, but a lot of these are not easy. Still, I guess some information is better than none. Family name in (parentheses), followed by whatever other information I can manage ...
I have numbered the shells on each page like this: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Page 1: 1. (Ostreidae) Cluster of oyster shells. Perhaps Crassostrea margaritacea (?) 2. (Bursidae) Shaped like a Tutufa, but too small to be an adult Tutufa. Possibly a juvenile Tutufa bubo (?) 3. Don't know. They could be Trochidae, but I believe they are probably land snails of some kind. 4. (Olividae) Ancilla sp., possibly Ancilla marmorata (?) 5. (Cerithiidae) Clypeomorus sp., perhaps Clypeomorus petrosus (?) 6. Hey, here's one I actually know! (Neritidae) Nerita plicata. 7. (Veneridae) Perhaps Sunetta sp. (?) 8. (Tellinidae) Two species. White one possibly Macoma litoralis (?); pink one possibly Tellina apelina (?) 9. (Mytilidae) Probably Septifer sp. 10. (Nassariidae) Nassarius sp. Page 2: 1. (Turridae) Xenoturris cingulifera. 2. (Nassariidae) Nassarius sp. 3. (Muricidae) Pinaxia versicolor. 4. (Marginellidae) Probably Volvarina sp. 5. (Buccinidae) Engina mendicaria. 6. (Turbinidae) Lunella coronata. 7. (Trochidae) Pseudostomatella sp. 8. (Mostly Cerithiidae) Cerithium rostratum (?) Also (Terebridae) Hastula albula (?) at far right. 9. (Muricidae) Top: Thais savignyi (?); Bottom: Morula biconica (?) 10. (Trochidae) Trochus sp. Page 3: 1. (Naticidae) Polinices sp., probably Polinices melanostomus. 2. (Vasidae) Vasum rhinoceros. 3. (Cypraeidae) These appear to be mostly Cypraea helvola, but there could possibly be some Cypraea marginalis mixed in. 4. (Cypraeidae) Cypraea carneola (immature). 5. (Cypraeidae) Cypraea lynx. 6. (Nassariidae) Nassarius sp. 7. A mixture! (Ranellidae and Bursidae) Top: Cymatium nicobaricum; Left: Cymatium muricinum; Center and Right: Bursa granularis; Bottom Left: Cymatium pileare; Bottom Right: Cymatium sp., immature. 8. Left, Top and Bottom: (Trochidae) Gibbula sp.; Right, Top and Bottom: Probably land snails, same as Page 1, #3. 9. (Nassariidae) Nassarius sp., 3 species.
