It is C.tigris dip the top part on muriatic acid. i've seen how they do that before, they do that to put a decoration or painting on the cleaned top of a cowrie shell. sometimes they paint it first with designs before dipping in acid, for that the acid dissolves first the exposed shell leaving the painted part.

may i suggest that you use other method on how to post your images? cause there are collectors here that do not see your photos Sad
