Seashells traps.
Hello,
I have done some traps one time just for fun. Here is what I made : I used an empty plastic bottle. I inserted a piece of wood. Inside of course bait (old dead fish)/ i made small holes in the bottle and put that in the sand. i also added weights to be sure to find the trap at the same place. The trap have to be burried at 90% to avoid fish attacks or crabs attacks. During the night many species will come like Olividae,Mitridae,... It's funny to do but as I do collect cones and cowries, I do not use these As yo ucan see it's cheep In the morning you just have to search near the trap, the shells are burried around it bye DAVID  ps: it's not really a trap, but it helps to catch shells too  --Last edited by David Touitou on 2007-12-31 14:43:09 -- |
