Can't find one like it
Hi. Â In that case it is pretty definitely an immature shell in the family Marginellidae. Â I don't know what species. Â It could be a small juvenile of Marginella apicinum. Â Or perhaps one of several small whitish species found in Florida like M. bella or M. lavalleeana. If you post the picture on http://www.letstalkseashells.com Marlo may be able to ID it. She is very good with Florida minishells. Â (She stops by here sometimes too.) Â --Last edited by Paul Monfils on 2009-10-09 03:01:47 --
