grandmother's collection

I recently came across some shells which belonged to a collection my grandparents had;  they apparently had a collection of substantial size which was donated to a museum.  I have about 20 left, including two (a pair) shells which were purchased from Japan and were painted in the 1700s.  I have the receipt from that purchase and would be interested in selling them but cannot find someone to appraise them.  Any suggestions?

I can send pics, of course, if there's any interest.
