An uncommon Cardiidae? Carditidae?
Dear All,
I recently found this bivalve beached on the West Coast of Mauritius (SW Indian Ocean) and could not identify it. It is 32mm long. I started to go for a Plagiocardium, but it does not match P. setosum from this area. Perhaps a Venericardia from the Carditidae family? Anybody can help? Ta. Â --Last edited by conchylinet on 2008-07-22 21:41:53 -- |
