Hello
Hello, I am a new seashell lover. I am disabled and read a lot since I can't get out much. I was able to find a used book Compendium of Seashells at a used bookstore. I love all the shell pictures and related information. I can't get out much due to my disability so I can't get out to collect shells. I recently moved from Florida to Arkansas to be close to family so there is nowhere to find shells anyway. Can anyone offer any help in getting some seashells. Thank you.

Re: Hello
Hi Conchfan and welcome.
There are many ways to collect seashells from home. You can buy them online from the various dealers listed on this site, or from ebay or conchnet auction sites.
There are various shell clubs and societies dotted around the world who have members willing to sell or exchange shells. Personally I find Facebook a very good place to meet other collectors who are very willing to exchange (and even sometimes give away) shells.
I hope this is useful,
Dave
