cypraea tigris - White Head

I have cypraea tigris but i'm not sure that name is tigris, because it have a white head....

Any want what the specific name of my cypraea... ? please check my pict

It is C.tigris dip the top part on muriatic acid. i've seen how they do that before, they do that to put a decoration or painting on the cleaned top of a cowrie shell. sometimes they paint it first with designs before dipping in acid, for that the acid dissolves first the exposed shell leaving the painted part.

may i suggest that you use other method on how to post your images? cause there are collectors here that do not see your photos

Hem..hem...  clean up the top by muriatic acid....
use highly corrosive acid to modify the top of shells... I see....
