koh-phangan
hi,

we found a lot of shells in Thailand last December.
the north east side of koh-phangan to be specific.

I was managed to identify most of them (hopefully...)
but not all. I've attached a picture of the ones I do not recognize.

any help would be much appreciated!

thank you,

Yoav

Hello,

Some of these are difficult but I'll do my best.

#1 appears to be a member of the family Veneridae.  The shape suggests Meretrix meretrix.  The color pattern is unusual but the species is quite variable.

#2 is also in Veneridae, a species of Tapes, probably Tapes platyptycha

#3 seems to a mix of things.  The first item could be a piece of the base of a cowrie shell, a fairly large species, perhaps Cypraea tigris.  The second one, no idea.  The third and fourth could be the upper valves of a small oyster called Lopha frons, not sure though.

#4 appears to be Ergalatax contractus, in the family Muricidae.

#5 is pretty badly worn, but is also Muricidae, perhaps Morula granulata or a small Thais.

#6 is Planaxis sulcatus, in the family Planaxidae

#7 appear to be Chama shells, family Chamidae, probably Chama pacifica
