Help with identification
Can anyone help identify the attached shell. Found in Western Australia....Strombidae of some sort perhaps? Surprised by its size.

Yes, Strombidae.  I believe this is a juvenile Lambis chiragra. It gets a lot bigger than this.

Thank you very much. I've looked up the Lambis Chiragra now to see what it would have looked like.  What a shame it didn't get to grow to maturity. Thank you again.
