How to preserved chiton??
You put the chiton on a small plastic or glass plate and perhaps sprinkle it with seawater. Â You wait until the chiton is flat on the plate and then take some cotton thread to wind round it so that the chiton does not curl up. Â You make solution of 1/3 isopropanol, 1/3 distiled water and 1/3 glycerine (ask your pharmasist) and put the chiton and plastic in there. Â You leave it in the solution for ca 3 weeks (depending on the largeness of the chiton). Â Then take it out, remove the cotton and plastic. Â Then let the chiton dry.
