Please help with those 2
First set - looks like a Terebridae .. came from Japan with no data,
Second set - Lopha..but which one? Are you sure about the locality? Â I can think of a couple of species that resemble this but they are either Australian or South African. Â If this is truly Japanese, one possibility would be Terebra bifrons (Hinds).
I believe the bivalve is Lopha (Hyotissa) hyotis L. |

Thx Paul,
Thought about Hyotissa but couldn't find pictures of the specie with such nice spines. About bifrons .. do you have picture of it..cannot find on net.. Anyway Thx again |
