Vietnam shells
Hello,
Can somebody help in identifying the species below? I think they are common but I dont have any reference about seashells from Vietnam. <img src="http://www.conchylinet.com/Images/Misc/4585.JPG" alt="http://www.conchylinet.com/Images/Misc/4585.JPG" style="border:0" /> 40 mm (Turritellidae?) <img src="http://www.conchylinet.com/Images/Misc/4586.JPG" alt="http://www.conchylinet.com/Images/Misc/4586.JPG" style="border:0" /> 44mm (Phalium sp?) <img src="http://www.conchylinet.com/Images/Misc/4587.JPG" alt="http://www.conchylinet.com/Images/Misc/4587.JPG" style="border:0" /> 40mm <img src="http://www.conchylinet.com/Images/Misc/4588.JPG" alt="http://www.conchylinet.com/Images/Misc/4588.JPG" style="border:0" /> 37mm Thanks. 1. Could possibly be a piece of a Turritella or a turrid, but I lean toward Faunus ater (family Thiaridae)
2. Phalium (Semicassis) bisulcatum, probably form persimilis 3. Bursa (Bufonaria) rana 4. Meretrix lusoria (family Veneridae) |

Thanks Paul,
#1 is quite solid/heavy shelled. But I agree it could be not a Turritellidae or Turrid. |
