unidentified japanese shells - conchylinet - 12-02-2009

Hello,
I hope somebody can help me with these miscellanous shells from Japan. They are from around Hiroshima and are rather small (between 20 and 40mm).

I guess they are very common but I have nothing in my library to identify them.

Thanks.
Pierre.

These are from Miyagima is.

Hello Pierre,

I did some research and this is what came up (besides of just the family identification as for the gastropods):

Picture 1:
4: Coecella chinensis (Deshayes, 1855)
5: Tapes sp., probably Tapes belcheri (Sowerby, 1853)

Picture 2:
B: Fulvia mutica (Reeve, 1844) --Last edited by mikede on 2009-12-09 01:04:42 --
