Regular Unidentified Sea Snails - shelleddie - 10-28-2009 I do not update as often as I would like but there is a fairly regular stream of unidentified/dubiously identified shells at <a href="http://www.gastropods.com/Taxon_pages/Unknown_Index.shtml" target="_blank"><!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.gastropods.com/Taxon_pages/Unknown_Index.shtml">http://www.gastropods.com/Taxon_pages/U ... ndex.shtml</a><!-- m --></a> for which help would be appreciated Regular Unidentified Sea Snails - paul monfils - 10-29-2009 The shell listed as Buccinidae is actually a muricid, Chorus giganteus from Chile. The cone looks like Conus cocceus from Australia. The Epitoniid looks like Opalia australis. |
