</center>   theese belonged to my wifes grandmother and were in her collection i id'd all her others but didnt theese 2 someone told me they might be rare but i dont know can anyone help me thank you

Hi there. The first shell is Hexaplex nigritus, a common Murex shell from the Southern Californian area and the second is Harpa major from the Indo-Pacific region, also common.
