Thx, RK 3 Shell Identification - paul monfils - 07-26-2009 Pictures 0002 & 0003 are Murex (Muricanthus) nigritus, the Black Murex, from west Central America. 0004 & 0005 are Pleuroploca trapezium, the Trapezium Horse Conch, sometimes called Fox Shell, from the middle western Pacific, probably the Philippines. 0006 & 0007 are Busycon sinistrum, the Lightning Whelk, from Florida and surrounding area.
