Thanks for your help..I am very new in shells identification although I have been collecting shells for a while...30 years!! Shell from Dr for Identification please !! - paul monfils - 06-08-2009 1. Muricopsis roseus  (Reeve, 1846) 2. Probably Calliostoma jujubinum (Gmelin, 1791)  The species is rather variable and I can't think of anything else it could be. 3. Pyrene (Conella) ovulata  (Lamarck, 1822) 4. family Turridae - These small turrids are very hard to ID.  Can't name it with any degree of confidence. 5. Anachis (Zafrona) dicomata  (Dall, 1889) 6. Looks like a small species of Mitridae, but the angle of view is not useful for identification.  A straight-on view of the underside showing the whole shell from apex to base would be much better.  <span class="petit">--Last edited by Paul Monfils on 2009-06-08 06:01:34 --</span> Shell from Dr for Identification please !! - paul monfils - 06-11-2009 I had an idea for #4 but I see the image has been removed.  Could you possibly repost it?
