I have two shells that I am having trouble identifying. Can anyone help? Thank you very much.

The first is Cymbiolista hunteri, from Australia, a volute. The second is not a volute but a Melongena. Either Melongena patula from west Central America or Melongena melongena from the Caribbean side. The two are quite similar, especially as they get larger. The juveniles of the two species are much easier to distinguish. --Last edited by Paul Monfils on 2009-05-06 21:59:20 --
