Cerion - rafa - 01-23-2009 Dera friends, I colleted this two land snails near Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I think both are genus Cerion, but it seems to be two diferents species. Could you help me to ID please? Thanks in advance. Â These can be difficult to ID even when fully mature. There are hundreds of described names of Cerion, all from the Caribbean area. Â Some experts say there are over a hundred species. Â Others claim that they are all just geographic forms of a dozen or so species. Â I could list a number of species that these are NOT, but that would still leave many possibilities for what they actually are.
