Richard Help please in identifying conus shells. - dave r - 01-11-2009 Hi Richard, the first is Conus vexillum, the second Conus striatus but I am not sure about the third. Possibly Conus characteristicus? Dave Help please in identifying conus shells. - richard - 01-11-2009 Thank you Dave, I do believe you are correct on the Conus characteristicus. Those shown on Gastropods .com are very similar to mine. I was able to identify the Conus striatus from your list of sites at Shell Passions. Thank you kindly Richard Help please in identifying conus shells. - dave r - 01-11-2009 Always a pleasure to help. Dave |
