butterfly-shaped shell fragment - bardite - 12-15-2008 Can you help me identify the origin of butterfly-shaped shell fragments? Â Recently, I have found several with the same shape, so the shape isn't a fluke. Â They washed up on beaches in the Pacific Northwest. Â I have photos if I can figure out how to post them.
