Madagascar bivalves - conchylinet - 06-26-2008

Hello again,
This time I am in trouble with Madagascar bivalves. They have been recently collected from the Mozambique Channel (West coast near Morondava, an estuarine area). I hope you could help with a few of them if not all.


A: 42mm

A: Dosinia sp.

B: Looks more like a member of Mesodesmatidae as of Donacidae, but I'm not sure in this

A - Dosinia tumida  Gray, 1838
B - Probably Tivela polita (Sowerby, 1851)
C - (agree with above ID)
D - Donax bipartitus  Sowerby, 1892
