Help Posting Photos of Unusual Conus Species - hokieguy - 01-14-2008

How do I attach some photos to a new post?  I have a conus species that I found on a recent trip to the Philippines that I cannot identify.  I have looked at a couple of hundred conus species on-line and cannot find anything like it.

Thanks!

Vic

Hi Vic,

First, see if this page provides any useful information ...

<a href="http://www.seashell-collector.com/Html/acebordHELP.htm" target="_blank"><!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.seashell-collector.com/Html/acebordHELP.htm">http://www.seashell-collector.com/Html/acebordHELP.htm</a><!-- m --></a>

Second, many internet providers offer a certain amount of webspace as part of their package. If yours does, you can upload the picture there, and provide a link to it here.

Third, if all else fails, email the picture to me and I'll post it on the web and provide a link.

Thanks Paul.  I identified it.  It's a very nice conus Generalis in burnt orange and Chicago maroon -- Virginia Tech colors!
