Center - Amusium japonicum, Japanese Moon Scallop
Upper Left - Conus textile, Textile Cone
Upper Right - Cypraea arabica, Arabian Cowrie
Left - Cypraea lynx, Lynx Cowrie
Right - Conus miles, Soldier Cone
Bottom - Oliva minacea, Orange-Mouth Olive Shell

No, they are all common to very common. The Amusium is the least common. It might retail for $5.00 in prime condition (This means a matched pair. I can't tell from the picture whether you have a complete shell or just a single valve. Single valves of bivalve species are generally not of much interest to collectors.) The others are worth less. The two cowries can be purchased from commercial shell warehouses for about $5.00 per gallon.  <span class="petit">--Last edited by Paul Monfils on 2007-07-28 05:20:26 --</span>
