another Trochidae identification request - shell collector de - 06-10-2007 Hello again At the attached picture you will find some shells which I soppose belong to the Trochus genus. <a href="http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5646047" target="_blank"><img src="http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/6/16010583937.jpg" alt="http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/6/16010583937.jpg" style="border:0" /></a> The height of these shells is up to 15 mm and the diameter is 10 mm. There is no umbilicus present. Maybe you can help my identifying these shells. Probable genus either Jujubinus or Cantharidus.  Species uncertain. another Trochidae identification request - shell collector de - 06-13-2007 Hello Paul Thank you for your help.
