hi paul,

  it's me again, i have this jouvenile conus but i'm not sure if this is a geographus.. i found it dead during snorkling..
approx. 20mm in size.

 i bought this one on an amateur shell shop, is this cone really found in palawan?

I believe the first picture is Conus obscurus. It does resemble Conus geographus but is a much smaller species, and has a smooth shoulder compared with the nodular shoulder of C. geographus.

The other two pictures don't appear to be of the same shell. The ventral view looks like Conus voluminalis, while the dorsal view appears to be Conus caracteristicus.
