It does resemble Conus geographus but is a much smaller species, and has a smooth shoulder compared with the nodular shoulder of C. geographus. The other two pictures don't appear to be of the same shell. The ventral view looks like Conus voluminalis, while the dorsal view appears to be Conus caracteristicus. please help me identify my new cones..=) - rafael picardal - 06-13-2007 hi paul, thank you very much..=) raffy
