Thx for reply Peter What kind of shell is this one? - paul monfils - 03-22-2007 Hi peter, Welcome to the site. I wish the picture was a little better, but still I'm quite sure this is Glossus humanus (Linne., 1758), commonly known as the Oxheart Clam. It is a European species, fairly common from Norway south to the Mediterranean. A synonym often seen in older books is Isocardia cor.
